The Hitachi Akarion partnership
Hitachi started the partnership with Akarion over two years ago. A strategic investment in a highly motivated and skilled team with innovative GRC technology. Over the last two years, the partnership has grown from strength to strength with investment in market strategy and technical assistance from many areas of the Hitachi group. The Hitachi Security Business Group has not only offered a wider reach as a partner of the Compliance Cloud platform, but specifically worked with the Akarion team on many areas, from information security thought leadership, market awareness, through to functional development support. Akarion and Hitachi are moving into the next phase of an exciting partnership going into 2022 and beyond.

Matthias Teuscher
Matthias Teuscher is an experienced expert in information security, IT management and project management. He has worked in numerous national and international companies. Before his current role as CISO at the PIA Group (a leading digital agency with customers like Lufthansa, Bosch or Porsche), he was responsible for the conception and operation of the Information Security Management System at the Rheinmetall Automotive Group. Matthias spent over ten years working in Australia implementing ISO 9001 and ITIL strategies, amongst others.
Alan Jenkins
Alan Jenkins is a seasoned security practitioner with some 30 years of experience in all facets of security from physical to information, cyber & enterprise risk management. After a 1st career as an officer in the RAF Police, he has spent the past 14 years in a variety of management consulting and end user positions, including time as the Group CISO at a FTSE100 multinational and as an Associate Partner at IBM Security in the UK & Ireland. He is currently working as a strategic advisor for Hitachi Europe on cyber security.
